‘CARNIVALE’
It’s that time of the year again - concert time!
We are so excited to get started with this year’s concert: Carnivale!
Once again we will be putting on two shows! A matinee and an evening performance.
Key Dates
Some important dates that performers must be available for are:
Finale Rehearsal - Friday 31st October (6pm - 8pm) and/or Sunday 9th November (2pm - 4pm). Students only need to attend one but you’re more than welcome to both!
Blocking Rehearsal - Friday 21st November (Arriving 4:30pm to start 5pm).
Concert - Saturday 22nd November (Matinee and evening arriving at 11am).
Concert Viewing Party (cast and choreographers only) at Dendy Cinemas Canberra - Saturday 6th December 4pm!
Enrolments
Enrolments open Monday 18th August
Concert classes will run as enrolments to make things run smoothly for everyone. Enrolment classes will start from Friday 12th September and end Thursday 20th November.
Enrolment sign-ups close Monday 8th September
Late fees will apply for late sign-ups
Fees
Your enrolment fee covers 10 weeks of classes, blocking rehearsal, costume hire, your contribution towards theatre hire, plus photos and videos of the performance for you to keep and share! We also host a Concert Viewing Party after the shows. It’s a heap of fun and a great way to celebrate with your cast mates and teacher.

2 classes - $680
3 classes - $950
4 classes - $1220

These fees exclude mentoring and solo opportunities. Payment plan options are available at check out via the sign up page. Unfortunately, we cannot provide class credits for planned or unplanned absences for these classes.
Performing class schedule
Most classes will remain at the same time as they have throughout the year. See the schedule below for the performing class timetable (colour-coded by studio).
How to enrol
Head over to our concert sign up page (link below).
You must view the timetable on the week concert enrolment classes start otherwise you won’t be booking in for the full rehearsal period.
You will also need to complete a costume form to advise your sizing and requirements. All costumes will be purchased by 6th Position and hire is included in your concert fees.
